    Dear Kris,

I am a Montessori Elementary I intern in Illinois and have been looking for a year-round cultural topic that I could use in our 6-9 year-old classroom. I was looking into peace education but was struck by the concept that: If you want peace, work for justice. So I began searching for basic justice education for children until I found your website.

I wonder if you would allow me to adapt some of your basic concepts of restorative justice and share with me some of your line activities that promote the basic themes of justice?

Please let me know and keep in touch.

    Sincerely yours,

    Freddie

    • Hi Freddie – thanks for writing! I am happy to help! Yes, promote justice! : ) I often point out if you ask me a question, my answer will be a Circle! So activities that promote justice include equality, respect, listening, connecting, all can be achieved with Circle. I would recommend teaching the theme of peace & justice, by engaging youth in a Circle. Young people take to circle quickly, you will be impressed at how well they can manage behaviors in Circle. If you need more, email me at scvrjp@gmail.com. Good luck with teaching!

      Kris
