I got a chip in my tooth fixed. It was just a tiny little chip, but it was on one of my two front teeth. I didn’t expect it to be as easy as fixing a cavity (without even needing a shot). Once I asked, and found out it wouldn’t cost me an arm & a leg, I decided to get the chip repaired. I’m really glad I did. It makes me feel better about my smile.
At a non-profit leaders meeting, we shared stories about our first “calling” to be working in the non-profit sector. I was blessed to hear from a women whose parents, distributed food to less fortunate. Her Mother told her “A smile, is the first stage of healing”. That really made sense to me, it put a smile on my heart to think about that. I try to smile as others as often as I can. And now . . . my smile is a bit brighter.
